CSNet Turnin

Student Turnin Using CSNet

CSNet Turnin is a replacement for the old UNIX turnin command. Professors and teaching assistants can create assignments in CSNet. Students can view their homework assignents by logging into CSNet and clicking on "My Courses". From My Courses, students can upload their homework assignments through their web browser.



To turn in an assignment to your TA:
  1. Login to CSNet (http://csnet.cs.tamu.edu) through any web browser.

  2. Once you are logged in, locate and click on "My Courses" in the menu on the left hand side of the page.

  3. Locate and click on the course that you are turning in an assignment for.

  4. You should see a list of the assignments posted for your section.
    Click on the Turnin button for the assignment you want to submit.

  5. Your assignment should already be selected.
    Note: If you browse to the turnin page without selecting a specific assignment, there will be a dropdown box to select your assignment.

  6. Next, click "Browse." (Fig 04)

  7. Locate and click on the file you want to upload to your TA. (Fig 05)

  8. Once you have completed these steps, you can click on "Submit" to upload your file.

    After the file has uploaded, you will see a notification like the one in Fig. 07.

  9. Finally, to view your uploaded files locate and click "View Submissions" in the menu on the left hand side.
