All ISO images are stored on \\ntfiler\apps\msdn (accessible by Start, Run, pathname. see figure 1). The folders are broken down into six sections with the seventh folder housing the getting started information for the MSDN. The six main folders are:
Under each main folder are sub folders containing the CD number and a description of what is on the CD. Choose the folder containing the software you are looking for.
There will be folders containing the CD number, version number, and the date the CD was published. Choose which version you want and open it.
There should be two folders, CD and ISO. Choose the ISO folder so that you can burn a copy of the CD.
With the ISO folder open, you should be able to click on the ISO and Roxio CD Creator will launch.
A window will come up asking what you would like to do with the ISO. Choose "Start Recording".
You would like to burn a copy of the Visual Studio 6.0 Disk 1. It can be found at \\ntfiler\apps\msdn\Development Tools\0934. Visual Studio 6.0, Professional Edition. Disk 1 \0934.JUL Y2001 \iso\0934.JUL Y2001.iso
Another example would be to burn a copy of the Windows 2000 CD. It can be found at \\ntfiler\apps\msdn\Platforms\OO13. Windows 2000 Versions, Security Rollup Package
