How to change your password
To change your password the first thing you need to do is login to the CSNet
Website (http://csnet.cs.tamu.edu). If this is the first time you are changing your password after claiming your account, try your UIN as your password to login to CSNet
Fig 01
Once logged in you should be automatically taken to the welcome page of your
account. On the left side of the screen click on the My Account link
under the My Applications heading. This will take you to your account
settings page.

On the left menu click on My Passwords link, which will in turn take you
to the password reset page.
Fig 03
Once you are in the change passwords page you should be able to change
Windows/UNIX/Web passwords. You will need to know what your current password is
(for new/reset accounts it is normally Cs + your UIN. Example: Cs902001234).

Type your current password and your new password twice. Select the systems on
which you want your password changed and click Submit. Once you have
successfully changed your password the following confirmation box should show
up on your screen.
If you have forgotten your password, you will need to come by the helpdesk in
order to have it reset. You will need to bring with you your TAMU ID card.
The helpdesk cannot give out passwords by e-mail or over the phone, so you will
need to come in person.
