Printing - Checking Print Quota
Students are allocated a printer allowance based the CPSC classes they are currently taking.

Checking Your Print Balance
- When logged into a CS lab computer, a dollar sign icon should appear in the system tray. Point your mouse over this icon to see your current balance.

- If the icon does not appear in your system tray, do the following:
- Select Start, then Run. Type \\printers\pcounter in the box.

- A window titled pcounter on printers will open. Double click the WBALANCE.EXE icon.

- The dollar sign icon will now appear in your system tray. Hover your mouse pointer over it to check your current balance.

- Next, to make sure that the WBALANCE.EXE program runs every time you log on, begin by right clicking on the "Start" button, and selecting "Open."

- Double click on the "Programs" directory, then double click on the "Startup" directory. Click on the WBALANCE.EXE file in the \\printers\PCOUNTER folder, and drag it into your "Startup" folder while holding the CTRL and SHIFT keys to create a shortcut.

- Once you are finished, you should have a "Shortcut to WBALANCE" shortcut in your startup folder, and WBALANCE.EXE will start up each time you log on.
