Off-Campus Access to CS Computers via VPN
Off-Campus Access to CS Computers via VPN
Computer Science department computers are located inside the both the TAMU Firewall and
the Computer Science Department's firewall.
To access the CS computers from off campus, you can use the CS Department VPN. VPN
will allow you access to secured CS and TAMU information resources.
The CS Department and TAMU both have firewalls and both have a VPN server to allow remote access.
Because the CS department is inside of the TAMU firewall, using our VPN server will give you access to both CS and TAMU systems
that are inside of the Department and Campus firewalls.
